COVID-19 Health and Safety Measures
Your health is our top priority. We have put special measures in place to keep all guests safe before and during horseback rides.
- Stringent Cleaning – We have increased the frequency of disinfecting office surfaces, helmets, and pens between each ride. We also provide hand sanitizer in the office available for all our guests and staff to use before and after rides. Outdoors we are sanitizing saddles and tack.
- Social Distancing – Guests will stay at a safe 6-foot distance during all points of the ride with normal horse distancing. We ask that only one party at a time in our office during the check-in process. We also ensure that all staff members will be wearing the necessary masks. We allow for usage of the loading steps when requested.
- Wellness Checks – Employees receive daily wellness checks to ensure they are healthy and symptom-free. If you or anyone in your group is experiencing symptoms, we will work directly with you to cancel or reschedule your ride.
Under new ownership and still a great place to ride, we offer trail rides in the beautiful ponderosa pines! May 1st through October 1st, we offer rides through the Coconino National Forest of Arizona’s high country, in the town of Mormon Lake, AZ, 30 miles southeast of Flagstaff. Of course, with great weather, we may open a little earlier or stay a little later.
Our trails and horses are good for beginner riders, families, and riders of all levels.
Our rides depart from the heart of Mormon Lake, AZ, and take you through the ponderosa pine trees of North America. With wildlife abundant in the area, you may see elk, deer, foxes, raccoons, bobcats, and possibly a coyote. Horseback riding in Mormon Lake is a unique experience for all ages. Horseback riding in the pine trees gives you a new look at the forest. Let’s saddle up and ride!
